            Join us for our National Day of Action — Silent No More

On Monday, September 21, from 12:30–2:30 PM, survivors (mothers, adoptees, families) and supporters will gather at the Centennial Flame on Parliament Hill for a peaceful, survivor‑centred National Day of Action calling for a formal federal apology for Canada’s post‑war forced adoption practices.

These practices separated more than 350,000 mothers from their newborn children — one of the largest human rights violations in Canadian history, and one that remains unacknowledged.

The gathering will include:

  • Speakers directly impacted, including mothers and adoptees

  • A collective moment of mourning for those who passed without receiving the apology they deeply deserved

  • A show of solidarity, standing together to demand accountability, truth‑telling, and justice

 

This is a peaceful, nonpartisan event. We will stand together in strength, dignity, and truth.
